RemixArtistCollective:RAC

I started to realized I was subconsciously developing a library of songs labeled “RAC Mix”. I did what any curious person would do and tracked down the source. It seems these fellas work with a rather vast network of artists, and remix songs accordingly.

“We provide re-interpretations/remixes of individual songs for artists/labels. Above all, we strive for excellence and tastefulness regardless of genre.” - RAC

Common Market

Seattle’s playing host to some new hip-hop. It’s been a while since I’ve been excited about some genuine hip-hop. RA Scion and DJ Sabzi somehow accomplish what I’ve been looking for.

“RA Scion spits in the Tradition of the conscious Hiphop movement…a true soldier for the preservation of Hiphop Kulture.” - KRS-ONE

Common Market - Black Patch War

Since this is already a rap based post, I might as well add some tracks that you can pump while ghost riding your whip and making it rain on them bitches.

Lil’ Wayne Feat T.I., R. Kelly, Rick Ross, & Fat Joe - Make It Rain
Rick Ross Feat R. Kelly - Speeding
Estelle Feat Kanye - American Boy
DJ Kaled Feat Akon, T.I., Rick Ross, Fat Joe, Birdman & Lil’ Wayne - We Takin Over

- Don’t ask me what my name is. Stupid bitch, I’m Famous!

Coconut Records

It seems that Jason Schwartzman is some what of a musician. I had no idea. And to top it off, the music video I found features the legendary Mark Gonzales riding a skateboard. This shit is beautiful.

Coconut Records - West Coast

April?!?!

Spring is in the air. I am extremely excited to see some sunshine and maybe some short skirts, and well, babes in bikinis are just around the corner. I’ve been thinking about spending the summer in Victoria, let me know if ya’ll have any ideas for summer work for me.. I promise I’ll only hit the bottle on the weekends.

Speaking of the bottle… I’ve been drinking a new brand of rum lately. A friend provided me with a glass a few weeks ago and I’ve been hooked on it since. Its from Nicaragua and I bet its even more delicious if you are laying in a hammock down there drinking straight from the bottle. Some day…

Enjoi the tunes kids,

March Madness

Thats right, it’s March. We’ve finally been seeing a little bit of sunshine which is pretty encouraging after a long wet winter. I’m counting the days until I’m on a beach getting honey bronzed (and very very desirable). February was pretty good for music, there are a few songs below that I’m really excited about.

If you are wondering about the fabulous lego men up there.. I don’t really have an explanation aside from thinking that this star wars reenactment is fucking hilarious. Speaking of fucking, did you hear Jimmy Kimmel is F*cking Ben Affleck.

It’s February!

“If Nickelodeon is worried about kids thinking pregnancy is cool, right after Zoey they should air episodes of John & Kate Plus 8. I watched John & Kate once and literally got five vasectomies. I even paid the neighbor kid to come over to my house each morning and punch me in the nuts. But he’s running a bit late today. Wait, there he is. And he remembered the brass knuckles. Nice work, Timmy.”
